Who Gets OpenAI Dots: Pro, Business Premium and Enterprise
Plan eligibility, regional limits for Pro, admin-controlled Enterprise beta and the first-Dot inclusion rule.
Dots are not a free standalone consumer app at launch. Access is gated by ChatGPT plan and region.
Included by default
- ChatGPT Pro — first Dot included (eligible markets)
- Business Premium — first Dot included across supported ChatGPT regions
Enterprise path
Enterprise, Edu and Healthcare workspaces can enable a beta when an admin turns it on. It is off by default.
Regional caveat for Pro
At announcement, Pro eligibility excluded the European Economic Area, Switzerland and the UK. Business Premium did not carry the same public exclusion in OpenAI's statements.
Capacity later
OpenAI indicated users will eventually add more Dots and scale speed or monthly work volume. Pricing for extra capacity was not published on day one.
