OpenAI Dots Pricing and Plan Access

At launch, OpenAI did not sell Dots as a separate consumer SKU. Access is tied to existing ChatGPT plans.

Inclusion

• Pro and Business Premium — first Dot included at no extra cost
• Enterprise / Edu / Healthcare — beta available when a workspace admin enables it (off by default)

OpenAI stated that conversations with a Dot do not count toward ChatGPT usage limits, while tasks the Dot starts in Codex or ChatGPT Work do. Extended limits for deeper work were described for the first month after launch; per-plan terms after that window were to be clarified later.

Future capacity

OpenAI said users will later be able to add more Dots and scale a Dot's speed or monthly work volume. Specific add-on prices were not published on announcement day.

Regional note for Pro

Pro rollout at launch excluded the European Economic Area, Switzerland and the UK. Business Premium was described as available across supported ChatGPT regions.
